Define a Graphical Planner workspace

We recommend that you define your Graphical Planner workspace before starting, so that you can plan more easily.

To define a workspace

Open: Workspace > General > Generate Schedule.

The Graphical Planner workspace can contain the following elements: menu bar, toolbars, windows (unscheduled operations, editor, overview, trace chart and plot).

• Choose the elements that you want to be on your workspace.

All of these elements are described fully in Preactor's help system.

To save a workspace

Open: Window > Workspaces > Save Workspace.

1. Select the location of where to save the workspace file.
2. Enter the File Name of the workspace information file.
3. Click Save.

To restore a workspace

Open: Window > Workspaces > Restore Workspace.

1. Select the location where you want to restore the workspace file from.
2. Select the File Name of the workspace information file.
3. Click Open.
