Create nominal accounts

Nominal accounts can be created in the Nominal Ledger, or by importing data.

You can create nominal accounts in the following ways:

• Create nominal accounts individually. Use this to create a single nominal account.
• Create a range of nominal accounts for one cost centre. This uses your existing set of nominal accounts and creates associated accounts with a new cost centre or department.
• Generate a set of nominal accounts with the same reference but different cost centres and departments. This creates a new nominal account for your existing cost centres and departments.
• Import data. Use this to create new nominal accounts by importing them from a CSV or XML file.
