Import financials data

You can import data into the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers from an external source using a variety of options.

• Update Account File.

Use this option to add new information.

You cannot add information to existing accounts or add foreign currency information.

• Import Accounts.

Use this to create new sales or purchase accounts.

You cannot add information to an existing account.

• Import Transactions.

Use this to import transactions to an existing sales or purchase account.

• Import Ledger File.

  Use this option to import:

  • Nominal accounts.
  • Nominal transactions.
  • Budget values.
• Import Report Categories.

Use this option to add report categories.

• Import Cost Centres.

Use this option to add cost centres.

• Import Departments.

Use this option to add departments.
