About installing core components

This is used if you have System Administration open when a core componentA package that describes the core modules of the Sage 200 suite; e.g. Accounting, Manufacturing. is installed on the serverThe server is the computer running the Sage 200 Server software. The server provides information over the network to computers running the Sage 200 Client software..

After installing core components, make sure users can access any new featureA feature is a name for an action that you can perform in Sage 200; e.g. Enter New Supplier Account, describes the action of adding a supplier account within Sage 200 Purchase Ledger.. This is done by authorising the added features through the Features or Roles options.

To install core components

Open: System Administration > Core Components.

1. Right-click Core Components and choose Refresh.
2. Right-click the core component Name and choose Install.
3. Select simple or advanced mode and follow the steps in the wizard.
