Remove core component

You can uninstall a core componentA package that describes the core modules of the Sage 200 suite; e.g. Accounting, Manufacturing. using the Core Component Uninstallation Wizard within System Administration.

The featureA feature is a name for an action that you can perform in Sage 200; e.g. Enter New Supplier Account, describes the action of adding a supplier account within Sage 200 Purchase Ledger. definitions, menu items and actions associated with the core component are removed automatically.

To remove a core component

Open: System Administration > Core Components.

1. Right-click the core component Name and choose Remove.

2. Select simple or advanced mode and follow the steps in the wizard.

   On premiseOperating and using Sage 200 locally but accessing shared computer server resources from a local server, like an intranet or local area network. installations only - Following a successful removal, you must restart the Sage 200 application, or if you are using Self Service applications in a browser, restart IIS.
